Given Chances Farm LLC has been home to a different variety of animals over the years, from chickens to draft horses , while offering them a chance to surpass their limits. We decided on the name, since we were given the chance to give the animals a chance.
We started out with the purchase of our property in May of 2005. Shortly after that, we decided that we wanted to get horses. Our first horse was a beautiful black Percheron that was a retired carriage horse. Lancelot was a one of a kind. He was definitely the gentle giant. He started us on a path that led us to taking in multiple horses over the years to have a loving and caring home.
Then once we started a family, along came chickens, goats, pigs, cattle and now honey bees. With the variety of animals, we were given the chance to start turning it into a business. Our current focus is on American Aberdeen cattle, Toggenburg Goats, Idaho Pasture Pigs, Meat and egg laying Chickens, and Honey Bees.
We are looking to expand our Honey Bees to be able to produce more honey, lip balm, Lotion Bars, and beeswax.
Our items are currently available for purchase at the Farmers Market at the Fairgrounds in Greenfield, the Frankton Town Market, and items can be preordered for pick up at the farmers markets by contacting us by phone, social media, or our website.
